Bejo Tasmania is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bejo Zaden BV, a worldwide developer and producer of quality vegetable seed varieties. Headquartered in Warmenhuizen, Holland, Bejo Zaden is recognised for its innovative breeding, reliable varieties and high quality seed.

Randstad are excited to be partnering with Bejo Tasmania to assist in the recruitment of a Seed Production Field Officer position which will be based in Cressy, Tasmania. Our client is currently expanding seed production operations within the Australian market.

Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and proficient in project management.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and autonomously.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience managing agricultural projects or crop production.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A self-motivator who is able to demonstrate and influence practical and innovative approaches to problem solving.
  • An understanding of applying technology for crop monitoring, analysis and record-keeping.
  • Competent in developing, planning, and implementing methods to control diseases, weeds and pests, and to manage the water and nutrient requirements of crops for optimum productions.
  • A passion for agriculture and a high achiever within your field.
  • Sound knowledge and capability to carry out duties safely in accordance with workplace safety regulations.
