This role reports to the ‘Head of Portfolio Performance & Insights, Home Ownership’ who is responsible for managing the momentum and performance of the mortgage portfolio with high quality data driven insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Portfolio Performance & Insights managing the momentum and performance of the mortgage portfolio
  • Lead [pieces of work], pieces together across the organisation
  • Develop analytical, reporting and benchmarking capabilities to manage the ‘end to end’ performance of the mortgage portfolio
  • Works closely with the Group Data to develop a roadmap of continuous mortgage data and reporting improvement
  • Respond to senior leaders, regulator and other industry participants enquiries into the mortgage portfolio with timely insights
  • In conjunction with Product Management team, deliver insights that enable the development of value propositions to more effectively acquire, retain and ultimately grow priority segments
  • Identify priority segments and deliver meaningful insights utilising data sources across the bank to innovative ways of improving portfolio performance
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with key senior internal stakeholders including; Pricing, Distribution, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance

What do I need?

  • 7+ years strategy or product management experience in financial services, preference for Home Ownership expertise
  • Experience working in a data driven analytics environment
  • Results driven and strong commercial acumen; have forward thinking ideas; great organisation and planning skills that combine with your strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven strength in developing compelling strategies, requiring cross-functional collaboration which has transformed traditional thinking
  • Proficient in spread sheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • 3 years + experience working with SQL / SAS or similar data extraction tool preferred
  • Proven experience within Project delivery, on time and within budget
