We are currently recruiting for a senior payroll officer within a large shared service centre in Melbourne.

They are a long standing business that has recently gone through a large merger.

You will be responsible for helping deliver payroll on time in your portfolio in the team environment, you will have experience in processing payroll and have had prior involvement in the interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.

You will be responsible for:

- The accurate and timely processing of payruns.

- Setting up new employees in the payroll system and managing that data.

- Preparing redundancy and termination calculations.

- Entering timesheets to the system and assisting with checking timesheets.

- Collating hours and overtime.

- Assisting with the payroll tax calculations

- Assisting with STP submission.

- Assisting with super.

- Assisting with payslip preperation

- Providing advice to staff.
