To be successful in this SEO Manager role and work within a fast paced and dynamic advertising industry, applicants require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Furthermore, the SEO Manager will be responsible for coordinating and implementing professional search engine optimisation strategies for our clients. We are looking for someone with a T-shaped skill set, who is heavily focused on SEO and Analytics to achieve objectives successfully.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Develop an action plan on the requirements, action items and resources required for a successful National and Local SEO strategies
  • Plan and execute implementation of National / Local SEO strategy with the help of the SEO team
  • Analyse and interpret the available data / stats to grow the account
  • Effectively communicate to the team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
  • Define strategic goals and objectives on monthly, quarterly and annually basis.
  • Keep pace with SEO algorithms, trends and updates.
  • Assist Head of Search in Pitches, Proposals and Technical SEO Audits where needed

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Keyword research in line with the client objectives and the audience to uncover opportunities.
  • Carry out Technical SEO audit and recommendations.
  • Execute the On-site SEO
  • Provide content ideas / content opportunities on regular basis
  • Plan and execute professional and quality link building campaigns
  • Develop and implement an Outreach Burst plan
  • Manage Google My Business listings
  • Grow local presence of the clients to attract local audience
  • Implement local SEO link building campaigns
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools)
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
  • Run competitor’s analysis and incorporate that into the SEO strategy
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports with analysis and recommendations
  • Communicate to the team and management on the deliverables and achievements on regular basis

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in SEO or Growth Marketing working for a fast based Digital Agency.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and Local, additionally SEM would be great to have.
  • Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)
  • Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
  • High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence / data tools (e.g. SEMRush, AHrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends) Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
