Our client, one of the world’s largest electronics companies and a global leader in healthcare, lighting and consumer lifestyle, delivering people-centric, innovative products, services and solutions through the brand promise of “sense and simplicity”; are looking to recruit a Site Engineer specializing in electrical engineer to assist with the delivery of stadium based project in South Australia. The duration of contract is estimated between 6 months; with the option to progress to permanency.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with Clients, Project Stakeholders and External Consultants for Electrical works
  • To coordinate with customer, contractors and consultants on daily activities
  • Manage and Coordinate Site Engineers and Construction Teams
  • To produce daily and weekly project progress report to Customer
  • Prepare and Plan Electrical Works.
  • Management of OH&S requirements and site compliance
  • Ensure compliance to Quality Management systems.
  • Cost Management, and cost tracking
    • Material delivery
    • Installations
    • Heath & Safety
    • Inspections and surveys

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 3-5 years of project engineering and coordination experience in electrical engineering or lighting projects for new building, stadiums or retrofitting projects
  • Basic engineer drafting using AutoCAD
  • OHS Construction card (blue/white card)
  • Working knowledge of HS&E requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
  • Ability to work an extended roster in a remote location
  • Access to own vehicle
