About the company

This reputable Tier Two (Canberra) Builder , likes to be humble and remain understated in a thriving High Rise Residential Market , they build High Rise and Medium Density (luxury) developments, all valued over $30 million AUD with Ease and finesse, making them an enticing builder to work for, in a bustling market.

No job intricacies phase them, from Complex intricate projects comprising of 100 high rise dwellings to high end luxury homes. They are very much a solid identity within the "ACT" build space.

About the role

As one of their General Foreman you will be expected to take full ownership of the project supervising site activities and delegating as necessary.

You will be a driven outgoing General Foreman, looking to succeed quickly, progressing and impressing the Construction Manager with confidence to deliver a large scale, Luxery (High End) Residential High Rise development over $100 million AUD. Ideally you will have direct experience working on residential / new build projects of a smaller scale, ideally for a Mid Tier Competitor which in fact the prefer to enlist for there projects, and be confidant in handling $30 - $50 million projects.

You will be confidant having 4-5 foreman directly reporting into you and be familiar with the Fit out and Finishes, Facades, Structures, Planning programmes, Implementing QA systems, sequencing works, safety and the subbies.

Duties & Project Scope:

  • Preparing programmes
  • Subcontractor site Inductions
  • Managing onsite issues
  • Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.

Skills and Experience

  • You will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working on similar projects.
  • You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
  • Good management approach.
