As an established Commercial Builder within the NSW arena, they have approached Hannah Lovelock of Randstad to help them develop further in a unique space they developing in the “MEDICAL” constructions field.
About the role
This unique Site Manager will have experience constructing Private Hospital Extensions and Re-furbs over $2 million AUD working in a “live” environment, (SAN Private Hospital).
This Site Manager will need this experience so they understand the relevant infection control measures that need to be in place and monitored daily, as well as the other intricacies regarding working with medical gases, and services shutdowns within the live hospital.
You will be expected to take full ownership of the project supervising site activities and delegating as necessary. You will be a seasoned Foreman looking to step into the role of a General Foreman quickly. Ideally you will have gained similar experience working on Commercial / Residential Projects over $1 million AUD and be confidant in working autonomously and delivering a project on time and Budget.
- Preparing programmes
- Adherence to BCA standards
- Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
- Daily and Monthly reporting
- Subcontractor site Inductions
- Managing onsite issues
- Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.
Skills and Experience:
- You will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working on similar
- You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
- Exceptional Communication skills
- A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
- Good management approach.
The works are due to commence on the 31/10/16 and will run until end of March 2017
