Site teams are set up and this project has an experienced PM on board who has delivered numerous age care projects before

About the site manager role:

The project that the site manager will initial work on is a $27million, 120 bed age care project. Currently at landform stage they require an experienced site manager who has delivered similar sized projects previously. Must be able to run a site autonmously and have a personable and go getter attitude!

Duties of the site manager

Standard responsibilities Include;

  • Make the project your responsibility to push through on time
  • Work with the PM to put together project programs
  • Work closely with contractors and the clients
  • Be passionate, driven and keen to make a professional impression
  • Liaise with contractors at all times
  • Be reactive rather than procactive throughout the project
  • Only work to the highest standards of quality
  • Understand in house documenation
  • You WILL NOT have to deal with the client, do RFI's or screw subbies!

Skills and Experience of the Site manager

You will ideally be a highly skilled site manager who has worked on any type of project at $30million in value or more

  • Demonstrate project success in the past
  • A passionate, confident and positive attitude
  • Have great communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with on site contractors and the site team
  • A trade background is preferred though not essential
  • A desire to progress and develop within a company
  • Previous experience with an established construction company
