Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining best practices for management of social and digital media communications including issue and crisis communications
  • Collaborating with, and supporting, teams across the business to ensure effective social media issues and crisis communications
  • Monitoring social media channels, managing and posting corporate responses to comments and issues in social media posts
  • Supporting media and communications campaigns
  • Creating online and social copy and collateral including images
  • Providing social media communications counsel and support to executives and subject matter experts
  • Developing and implementing social media strategy for business projects

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Corporate issues and media crisis management expertise,
  • Social and digital media know-how
  • A proven ability to represent social media relations at the table
  • Ability to collaboratively develop norms and standards for social media issues & crisis work
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to effectively engage diverse & remote teams
  • Media writing skills
  • Expertise/experience as a media spokesperson in social media
