We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated candidates that can hit the ground running. Based in the head office in the Sydney CBD, in this role you will be selling to our global partners and sponsors, but it also includes traditional account management. Proven experience of active new business development with new partners, sponsors and accounts is essential. There are prospects for international travel and career progression along with significant commission for outstanding performance.

This organization is currently seeking applicants who have a sales and a travel/ aviation background. This role is a full-time permanent position located in the CBD, interviews are to be held now and it is due to commence in July 2017!

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Strategic and Tactical sponsorship opportunities
  • Manage an existing Strategic and Tactical sponsorship pipeline
  • Develop relationships with potential and new sponsors
  • Liaise with Events Partnership Manager to ensure delivery on all agreed sponsorship
  • Actively pursuing new business leads
  • Recommend improvements to sponsorship sales collateral and offering
  • Attend a selection of events/conferences

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience of active new business development with new partners, sponsors and accounts is essential
  • Analytical skills to focus sales efforts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Degree preferred
  • 5 years of sales experience
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking ability
  • Proactive sales development skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
