  • Big Four Bank located near Parramatta Westfield
  • $60/hr + super with potential to earn a permanent position

Challenge yourself to be a Customer Relations Team Leader, handling higher lever customer complaints and escalations, within a Big Four bank. Strengthen your team’s case management port folio across disputes resolution.

Your new role

Lead a growing, high functioning team in managing disputes resolutions cases spanning across credit, lending, financial hardship, debt collections and other consumer banking areas. Coach and mentor your team’s interpretation of complaints documentation and ability to pass appropriate judgment and action. Manage the performance of your team in conducting extensive investigations into cases that are beyond negotiated resolution outcomes. Oversee daily operations across document/application assessment, negotiations, reporting and compliance. Support your team with knowledge on actioning cases with respect to relevant regulatory/legal issues.

Your skillset and experience

  • At least one year experience as team leader or other managerial role within banking and financial services
  • At least two years as a disputes resolution/customer relations case manager
  • High awareness of legal and regulatory issues relevant to industry and work flow
  • Extensive knowledge and engagement with the Ombudsman
  • Bachelor in Law is favourable
  • Proficient communication skills, high attention to detail and proactive work ethic
