Randstad is seeking an experienced Technical Project Coordinator to be responsible for performing a range of planning and coordination project tasks and the management of an active directory migration. A major function of the role is to ensure migrations are appropriately planned, communicated, monitored, deployed and tested.

Key accountabilities:

  • Contribute towards the planning, monitoring, deployment and testing of migrations for NSW Health entities.
  • Provide prompt and accurate advice to users and stakeholders on the project. Take initiative in communicating to users to ensure work packages are completed before migrations.
  • Make sound judgements and advise Project Manager on work packages, migration support and testing.
  • Provide a professional level of project communication in all change management documentation and customer communications.
  • Provide non-technical migration support to users during the phase and post migration for all user queries. Work with Service Desk teams to transition migration support to business as usual.
  • Assist with analysis of complex data from multiple active directories including HR and cross reference all data sets to ensure this is accurate information for migrations.
  • Assist with ensuring user account details are accurate and correct and management of all data related issues.
  • Provide a professional level of project communication and administration of the project activities, supporting the project with practical logistical tasks such as scheduling, organising meetings and other high level administrative requirements.
  • Promote and contribute towards the project management best practices and Infrastructure Office project management methods including governance process and the use of all processes and standards within the project team.

Essential requirements:

  • 5 + years’ relevant industry experience within complex projects.
  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Must have good analytical, communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to think logically and follow instructions.
  • Experience providing support to the project team.
  • Thorough project documentation experience.
  • Ability to keep track of and document multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Visio and Excel.
  • Must be confident in meeting with business users and communication technical concepts to a non technical audience.
  • Previous experience with Novell OES and eDirectory would be an advantage.
