My client is a large Government Agency based in Newcastle and has an initial 6 month contract requirement for a Technical Project Coordinator to come on board and support the Project Manager in the delivery of migration projects. The main goal for the Technical Project Coordinator is to ensure migrations are appropriately planned, monitored, deployed and tested. You will be an enthusiastic self starter with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong organisational skills and a collaborative attitude are required as is the ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and plan the coordination of testing, migration pilots and migration groups
  • Provide technical migration support to users during the identity phase and post migration for all user queries
  • Provide analysis of complex data from multiple active directories and cross reference all data sets to ensure the data is accurate information for migration
  • Prepare the testing schedule, select migration groups, develop communications to test users and migration users, evaluate tests and provide advice for allocating users in migration groups

Key skills required include:

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience working with identity and email migrations, Active Directory and Exchange Applications
  • Technical support experience in previous roles
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and identity data sets, summaries and manipulate data, deal with challenges creatively
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment
