In this Cairns based role you, as Territory Manager, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Working autonomously in building a book of business in a defined territory in the Cairns and surrounding areas
  • Account managing existing customers, retain current service offerings and introduce these customers to new services
  • Engaging new business customers with new service offerings
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs

Our client is an ASX listed industrial and environmental solutions company offering a range of services to customers ranging from SMEs to multinationals. They have an impressive and long heritage in Australia. They are a dynamic and proactive company with branches and operations in every capital city and in regional centres across the country. They have had impressive and sustained growth in recent years. It is due to this growth they are looking to add an experienced Territory Manager to join their Cairns based Sales team.

The Role

In this Cairns based role you, as Territory Manager, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Working autonomously in building a book of business in a defined territory in the Cairns and surrounding areas
  • Account managing existing customers, retain current service offerings and introduce these customers to new services
  • Engaging new business customers with new service offerings
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs
  • Managing the CRM reporting system

Your Profile

You will have demonstrated experience in both account management and new business development. You will have worked in a regional area and understand the nature and importance of establishing and maintaining long-lasting relationships. You will be self motivated and used to finding solutions for your customers autonomously.
