Your new role
As a Mentor​​ your main focus will be keeping your ​Trainees and ​Apprentices engaged in their learning​.​ ​ This is a unique role where you will be able to positively influence the lives of your clients and apprentices. You'll be facilitating meetings and reviewing progress while also working closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure streamlined and efficient processes. ​T​he majority of your ​working week​ ​will be spent ​travelling to visit apprentices and clients​ as you strive to ​establish trusting and authentic relationships​ ​as their advisor and confidante.

About you
Most importantly, you have a current driver's license and the capacity for regular travel. A proven history of experience within building, carpentry, furniture or cabinet making trade is essential. You are proficient with ​M​icrosoft ​O​ffice and can complete admin​instration​ and reporting requirements​ with minimal assistance​. Previous experience in training or mentoring will be highly regarded and recent trade qualifications desired. You are willing to obtain or already have a ​current ​Working With Children Check and Police ​C​heck.
