This state government organisation manages the governments public housing portfolio across NSW. They are looking to engage a Project Planner to facilitate the timely approval of projects to enable them to achieve their goals. This is a initial 3-4 month engagement with the possibility of extension.

Based in Parramatta, the Project Planner will be responsible for providing planning advice to project teams on the opportunities and constraints of the Planning Legislation. They will support the development of site specific projects.

They will prepare, and obtain approvals for, Development Applications including the preparation of statements of environmental effects. Also, oversee the preparation of the Reviews of Environmental Factors for projects assessed and determined by the organisation.

The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Urban Planning. They will also have eligibility for membership to relevant Professional Association. They will have knowledge of factors affecting project design and experience in responding to community issues.

You will also possess excellent writing skills with superior attention to detail.
