    About this companyMy client is an established family owned business who specialise in supplying & producing authentic Italian smallgoods since 1978. Due to the ongoing growth within the business my client is looking to appoint an experienced Inventory Controller based out in Melbourne’s western suburbs.You will be responsible for:Analyse inventory levels of all meat productionInvestigation of stock discrepanciesMaintain stock levelsLiase with external and internal departments for all inventory mattersAssist in planning cycle counting of stock and auditing complianceSchedule of daily work and monitor distributionReporting of warehouse metrics to facilitate productivity improvementsLight P/A duties to the Directors as neededTo be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:Minimum of 3+ years experience in a similar roleRelevant inventory experience. FMCG or food manufacturing experience would be highly regarded but not essentialExperience using an inventory ERP software. Xero experience preferred but not essentialThe ability to communicate with key stakeholders in order to investigate and resolve issuesExcellent numeracy skills, and ability to analyse dataTrack record of success in achieving and maintaining inventory levels within budgeted levelsStrong drive for quality and precisionSense of urgency and the ability to multi task wellEye for detail & accuracyA positive can-do attitude that is a team playerBenefitsAttractive remuneration package on offer38 hour working week with flexible start time for the right personImmediate start for the successful candidateOnsite parkingBe apart of a growing family business!
