About the organization

I am representing a client within the NSW Government space that are offering an opportunity an Investigations Specialist within their respective Employee Performance & Conduct Division, with this particular role located in Sydney CBD, great money, and a focus on delivering day to day investigations into allegations of misconduct within a large organisation.

About the role

You will be someone who is comfortable working in a large organization, dealing with serious matters such as allegations of misconduct while also help develop investigative procedures and other directorate programs.

You will be tasked with managing and anaylzing investigations, including sensitive child protection matters, in a high volume and often high-risk and sensitive environment under the direction of a Director. Cases will be 70% child protection cases, 30% misconduct/fraud cases

Previous candidates have come from a background in Employee/Workplace Relations, Legal Aid, Police involved in investigations work, or people who have worked in a social science of psychology case worker capacity.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:

  • High level skills and experience in conducting investigations into sensitive/serious allegations
  • Sound knowledge and the skills to implement child protection policies and practices
  • Enjoy a high level of autonomy and accountability towards work quality and compliance
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and engagement experience with the ability to liaise with a diverse workforce.
  • Experience working with a complex organisation or State Gov’t highly regarded
