    Our client is a American German multi-national company manufacturing and supplying automotive systems as well as industrial technologies. Their 100 years of history and worldwide presence is engineered with the purpose to enable the next generation of mobility.

    This position will be based in Malaysia, in the Petaling Jaya office. You will oversee the marketing direction of Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand markets. This is a managerial role with direct reporting subordinates (3-4 headcounts) within the organization.

    about the job

    • You develop, deploy, monitor and optimize regional marketing strategies with alignment of the global marketing direction.
    • You plan and design effective budget for Digital (70%) and Traditional (30%) marketing initiatives, with considerations of methods, tools, systems, and resources.
    • You will guide and manage the team to achieve marketing goals and KPIs.
    • You liaise with external agencies/vendors to compliment marketing requirements of campaigns.
    • Digital marketing activation include Social Media & Content Management, Email & Mobile Marketing, SEO and SEM; Traditional marketing activation include on-ground exhibitions, customer events, training, workshops, and more.

    about the manager/team

    You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager based in Germany. The organization is well defined and structured in their work-flow and processes. As the marketing team is internationally based in several countries, you will get a global exposure working with professionals in a multi-cultured and inclusive environment.

    about you

    • You have at least 3 years of experience managing/leading a team effectively.
    • You are well experienced in managing online and offline marketing strategies and activation in the B2B industry (preferably in automotive or manufacturing and supply chain related industries).
    • You have hands on experience in deploying digital marketing strategies, not limited to Social Media and Content Management, Email Marketing, SEM, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns.
    • You have a record of managing budgets for regional marketing strategies to deliver tangible results (ROI).
    • You communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.
