job description

As a SCP, you are responsible for planning and ordering of products as necessary to meet the conditions of the Supply Chain Agreement with the markets. The supply chain planner manages the supply chain between the markets and the external contract manufacturers. Customer focus: - Capturing, analyzing, and processing the demand forecast; - Communicating & reviewing the updated delivery forecast to/with the external manufacturer; - Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and securing a timely approval of these; - Monitoring delivery, transit, and local release of product until the product is available for distribution in the market; - For new products: monitoring & coordinating all activities necessary to achieve a timely launch + issuing POs, and monitoring production and delivery planning; - Giving information about expected major supply issues, root cause and actions to be taken; - Reviewing supply chain agreements. Internal processes: - Determining and agreeing with the modalities for implementation of artwork changes with the market and manufacturer; - Coordinating and managing implementation of new Artwork; - Setting up and updating article information in the Supply Chain Systems; - Updating global systems with information about planned and initiated deliveries; - Generating standard reports containing supply performance and inventory situation, detecting (potential) issues, taking corrective measures. Financial: - Collecting, consolidating, verifying, and communicating forecasted volumes; - Reviewing demand forecast to detect deviations from Operational Plan (budget). People: - Organizing and executing tasks and activities based upon Operational Excellence principles.

qualification

We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to participate in team. Well developed interpersonal, and analytical skills, as well as a good insight in business issues and processes are a necessity. - Education: min. a Bachelor Degree or equivalent through experience; - Experience: experience in a Supply Chain Environment - Languages: proficiency in English and at least on other major European Language; - Other: good knowledge of planning tools and related reporting tools (Business Intelligence Tools).
