This new school opened to much fanfare in 2016 and is the eleventh school in a widely respected British schools group with educational institutions worldwide. Initially opening from Pre Nursery through to Year 4 - this UK curriculum school will eventually offer a contemporary education to students through to Senior school level.
The school is located in Asa Sul and is surrounded by green, open spaces with access to some superb sports facilities. In addition, the classrooms are modern with state-of-the art technology and all Early years and primary classrooms have direct access to outdoor learning spaces
Brasilia was the first planned city to be built in Brazil and is the political and federal district of the country. It is famous for it's extensive modernist architecture and listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, attracting architecture aficionados worldwide. Brasilia is also an important transportation hub for travel within Brazil. All the Embassies are based in Brasilia, therefore you can also find on offer a true mixture of different cultures and a really traditional expat lifestyle exists.
Life tends to gravitate around the beautiful lake in Brasilia - at weekends it's a hot spot for sailing and water sport enthusiasts. There are also lots of lovely restaurants around the city and over looking the lake, boasting a range of cuisines for all tastes.
Requirements: Applications are invited from outstanding practitioners who are passionate about teaching. They should be highly resourceful, forward-thinking professionals, able to function successfully in small teams.
For this particular role you will be teaching an Early years Pre Nursery (2 - 3 year olds) class which is opening due to rapid growth. In August you will then move in to either a Nursery (3 - 4 yr olds) or Reception (4 - 5 yr olds) class.
At least 2 years teaching experience in the UK is preferred but excellent teachers who can prove their curriculum adaptability can be considered. The school will also consider teachers with less than 2 years experience who show great teaching ability. All applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE).

The successful applicant will be working in a purpose built facility with small class sizes and motivated students, having access to great resources and facilities. The teachers receive a salary ranging from $30,000 to $35,000 US (depending on experience) which when pegged to cost of living in Brazil is very competitive and will afford you great saving potential.
