What you will do?
Become a strong business partner with the operation teams in Japan in order to drive strategic business initiatives.
In addition, become a strong financial coordinator between operation teams and business controllership finance teams in Japan.

Who are you?
Duties
- Monthly closing with high level of accuracy
- Secure monthly closing governance for responsible business area
- Strictly follow and upon needs create internal control processes
- Prepare reports from IFRS or JGAAP point of view whenever required
- Work closely with local and overseas finance and business counterparts whenever required
- Lead budgeting process- Demonstrate a strong partnership with business area and relative business controllership teams including FP&A and Accounting
- Lead standard costing process (SCS) with a strong partnership with business area and relative business controllership teams including FP&A and Accounting
- Coordinate & lead monthly P&L meetings with business area counterparts in Japan
- Represent Cab & Vehicle (CVA) business area as a finance business owner by reporting reasonable/accurate cost trend analysis in comparison to budget, standards and forecast on weekly, biweekly and monthly basis
- Track and challenge, where needed, monthly savings results generated by the business area
- Assess IRR/NPV/Payback profitability reasonableness for new business initiatives in CVA
- Identify complicated business processes when performing cost analysis and provide/implement ideas to improve these process complications in coordination with all related stakeholders
- Implement lean management/six sigma methodologies by working closely with business stakeholders
- Make continuous improvement transparent and visible with a high level of logical thinking
- Provide prompt feedback to any queries from other business controllership or business area counterparts
- Project management
- Promote digitalization/visualization of reports on day-to-day basis
- Other tasks deemed necessary
