    Randstad are currently recruiting for a Buyer to work for a leading housebuilder near to Sevenoaks, Kent.

    Duties include:

    • Prepare schedules to send out for tender
    • Analyse tenders and report back to management
    • Prepare budget cost documentation and monitor through to completion of works.
    • Source local suppliers and negotiate terms to enable group buying alternatives within the region
    • Attend site meetings and liaise with site agents in regards to materials on site
    • Liaise closely with Head Office to ensure national agreements are utilised
    • Check all invoices to ensure they are in accordance with delivery tickets/orders
    • Prepare schedules accurately
    • Use COINS system for order placement and payment of suppliers.
    • Assist in surveying duties to include sub-contractor buying
    • To keep accurate records for site plant and equipment
    • Ensure Health & Safety equipment for all operatives is recorded and kept up to date in accordance with current legislation.
    • To obtain supplier details and drawings for approval from the Director.
