The MEL volunteer will need to work closely with the Project Manager for IMA4P project in Cambodia, the Programme M &E, Learning and Knowledge Management officer based in Nigeria and the Value Chain Adviser based in Cambodia, and the external evaluate being commissioned for this project in order to develop and strengthen the IMA4P M&E framework and implementation for VSO Cambodia and the partner organizations.

This position is open to international volunteers available and willing to work in Cambodia for 24 months of this placement. Volunteer will be part of the IMA4P project. PLEASE NOTE THAT APPLICANTS WILL BE REVIEWED ON A ROLLING BASIS.


Required qualifications / work experience: • An Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (a Masters degree is desirable); • 2 years experience in designing, managing and/or implementing MEL systems and tools; • Substantive experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative data; and, • Substantive experience of offering capacity building support to non-MEL staff. Required competencies: • Strong analytical skills; • Strong training and facilitation skills; • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English; and, • Adaptable, fast learner and ability to work in a culturally diverse environment. Willingness to be available for the full 24 months of placement will be required for continuity of the process.
