Account Manager – Toronto - $80-90K Base plus Bonus

Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of food products specifically condiments and is looking for a strategic and fresh thinking Account Manager who has expertise in market analysis, go-to market strategies and a proven ability to generate new and profitable revenue streams!

More precisely, your principal responsibilities will be the following :
• Building on the company’s profile and reputation to grow their market share into new territories and markets in National Restaurant Chains & Food Services Distributors
• Research and development functions, including devising and implementing sales strategies, marketing strategies and new product development strategies
• Analyzing sales and marketing trends, developing sales plans, budgets, quotas and goals
• Developing a strategic approach to introducing and executing new products, campaigns, managing new programs
• Keeping up to date on industry trends, technologies and advancements
• Organizing and participating in trade shows, seminars, and industry related events
• Monthly reporting, including annual reviews

• Salary: $80000-90000 base plus annual bonus

• Experience pioneering the sales and marketing initiatives for a rapidly growing company
• Entrepreneurial mindset, including being self-starting and comfortable with autonomy
• Food and Beverage/CPG, Food Services, and/or Industrial Food/Ingredients industry experience is preferred
• Research and Development, new product development experience an asset!
• Ability to gain buy in from both internal and external groups is essential
• Strong track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strategic account management experience.
• Must be flexible, diplomatic and resourceful with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment, and experience working within a cross-functional team is a plus.
