Are you looking for a challenging position that will put your skills to the test? We have a fantastic Accounts Receivable Clerk opportunity for you, if you are self-starting and detail oriented!

This is a temporary-to-full time Accounts Receivable specialist position with our well established client Downtown Toronto! Our client is a growing Media company who is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position is for candidates who are looking for career growth potential, and who are capable of processing high volume invoices on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:
• Processing daily invoices
• Managing the invoicing process for a portfolio of accounts in both the US and Canada using SAGE software
• Conducting warm collection calls on past due invoices to ensure clients meet payment terms and timeline
accordingly
• Providing high level customer service to client issues in a professional manner
• Producing and validating weekly sales report as required
• Managing GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Working closely with all business stakeholders and senior management to understand requirements, contribute
in regular reviews and address issues from customers to reach mutually beneficial resolutions in a timely manner
• Collecting data and reporting on monthly and quarterly metrics
• Perform other related duties as needed

Requirements:
• Post-Secondary education in accounting or finance is required
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ of experience in a B2B account receivables
• Strong working experience in invoicing and collecting accounts
• Proven analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in SAGE software is considered a strong asset
• Strong proficiency in MS Office is a must
• Excellent multitasking skills with the proven ability to handle high volume invoicing
• Strong communication skills both, verbal and written
• Bilingualism in French is considered an asset
