Randstad Victoria is now looking for a Patient Admin assistant for a client located in Sidney. Please note this a one month contract

BASIC FUNCTION: To provide a high level of patient satisfaction, and administratively support the clinic’s daily and ongoing business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Outlined below. Additional clerical duties may be assigned.

Patient Administrative Assistant:

 Ensure that patients’ service needs are met in a timely manner.
 Conduct telephone follow up to schedule appointments and reschedule “no shows” and cancellations when needed.
 Ability to answer patients’ basic questions (i.e. hours of operation, appointment confirmations).
 Collect and record patient information.
 Assemble and file patient charts (training provided) according to policies and procedures.
 Effectively enter patient information and sales transactions.
 Attend any scheduled meetings.
 Maintain an organized and clean working environment.
 Follow company work and safety procedures and policies.


EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in an environment with an emphasis on customer interaction and having to work with multiple tasks is an asset. Past experience working with senior population is an asset.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Computer/Keyboard skill. Proficient with MS Windows and Office.


OTHER:
Valid driver’s license and/or ability to travel daily to Sidney, BC is required.
