Do you have previous administrative experience and have strong computer knowledge? If so, we may have the role for you!

Our client, a leading bank, is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a 7 month contract in Vancouver!

Duration: 7 months
Hours of Work: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
Pay rate: Pay: $18.75/hr

As an Administrative Assistant your main job responsibilities include:
- Open new client accounts and manage any address changes
- Process client deposits
- Order office supplies (paper, toner, business cards, kitchen supplies)
- Enter orders- GIC, municipal bond issues, update spreadsheet
- Assist divisional administrator and branch administrator
- Review log accuracy tool

Qualifications
- Strong command of the English language (verbal and written)
- 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
- Work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Strong computer knowledge (Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- CSC and/or CPH (nice to have)
- RIS, Starquote) - can be trained

SOFT SKILLS:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
- Desire to provide high level of service to Branch staff (Sales Assistants and Investment Advisors).
- Ability to problem solve.
- Attention to detail

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- University degree or equivalent experience.
