Randstad is looking for a Administrative Receptionist to work at one of our automotive clients located by Highway 7 and Weston!

Must be able to drive/own a car as you will have to organize and take care of catering events from time to time. It would start off as an hourly position $18-20/hr.
Job Summary: First point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors.

Required Education and Experience:
•Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)
•Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Excellent organizational and time management skills

Essential Functions:
•Answer telephone and direct calls (Meridian System - 16 incoming lines); while remaining courteous and professional
•Greet visitors, customers and suppliers in a professional and hospitable manner
•Prepare sign in badges for visitors; ensure they receive appropriate visitor information (Health and Safety, Environmental requirements etc.)
•Prepare documentation and arrange for couriers. Sort and distribute all incoming mail, prepare outgoing for pickup
•Stuff accounts payable cheques and prepare for mailing
•Receive checks and stamp accordingly
•Record checks on the Check Register
•Provide assistance on projects as required
•Coordinate travel arrangement for employees; hotels, car rental, flight etc.
•Coordinate food catering when needed
•Organize coverage for reception in absence
•Assist the Purchasing Department as required:
•Enter all scrap details and downtime codes into manufacturing system (CMS)
•Enter all purchase requisitions into CMS, fax signed PO's to vendors and scan PO into server
•Perform receiving function of items ordered into CMS and resolve issues with missing receipts
•Input production report information into CMS




Qualifications
What are we looking for?
• 100% Office environment
• Must have your own vehicle
•Experience with catering events
•Repetitive sitting for prolonged periods of time
•Comfortable lifting up to 35lbs occasionally
•Employee is required to talk and intensively listen on a regular basis
•2 work related references
