Do you have 1-2 years of experience in an AML related position? Are you looking to further your career in the AML field in a large banking organization? If so, look no further because we have an excellent opportunity for you! We are currently looking for an AML Analyst to work a 6 month assignment in our clients Downtown Toronto office.

Earning a competitive rate of $32 per hour, as an AML Analyst you will be supporting their Global Trade and Banking department, with responsibilities including but not being limited to the following:

• Assist Global Trade and Banking Relationship Managers to review client relationships when establishing or periodically reviewing a Correspondent Banking Relationship and or “High Risk Clients”, investigate concerns and assess areas of due diligence as required.
• Gather and validate information to assist in the preparation of compliance and governance reports such as the Qualitative Assessment Report, KYC profile reconciliations, transaction monitoring and KYC completion reports.
• Research High Risk Clients in preparation of reports using World Check and various investigative tools specific to AML (To be specified by the AM )
• Maintain and document records in accordance with regulatory requirements and departmental standards. (OSFI)
• Ensure AML and compliance reports are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner to be submitted to Relationship Manager’s for review.
• Work with other teams within the organization to efficiently review client relationship and ensure alignment with AML standards.
• Prepare and support ad hoc analysis and activities to aid tactical and strategic business decisions.

• Gain experience working for one of Canada's leading banking institutions
• Work full time hours on a 6 month assignment with potential for extension
• Earn a competitive rate of $32 per hour
• Downtown Toronto location

• Minimum 1 – 1.5 years of AML experience (Understanding of AML technical jargon )
• Prior experience in researching in any capacity
• Knowledge of OSFI standardS
• Ability to gather, analyze, organize, document and present large volumes of information in a succinct and organized manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Strong PowerPoint/Word/Excel skills.
• Solid organizational planning, and time management skills with ability to multi task, gather, organize and interpret data and formulate preliminary conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate the risks and requirements around all AML risk assessments.
