Randstad is looking for a Assistant Residential Building Manager! This can be a live-in opportunity.

The Assistant Residential Building Manager will work closely with the Property Manager and report
directly to the Resident Building Manager as part of the on-site management team.


Property Management and Operations:
 Complete and submit to Head Office all paperwork related to service requests, requisitions, expense
reports, incident reports, etc.
 Provide day to day monitoring and minor preventative maintenance for the property and building
 Provide day to day monitoring and maintenance pertaining to the fitness facility and pool.
 Respond to resident service and maintenance requests in a timely manner
 Facilitate and monitor service providers and trades on site
 Identify and communicate opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in the management of the

Building Safety and Security:
 Ensuring that Chancellor Court is a safe and secure environment for all residents
 Work with the Building Manger to establish and maintain control over keys and security devices
(fobs), including issuing devices with appropriate programming and delete any lost or stolen devices,
replace keys or retrieve keys for terminated leases
 Responsible for the management of all security matters, including the physical condition of the
property, access control and monitoring, resident (and visitor) behaviors, etc.
Leasing and Marketing:
 Respond to leasing inquiries proactively via phone calls or emails and coordinate suite and property
tours in a timely manner
 Collaborating with the Property Manager and others to most effectively market and present
Chancellor Court.
 Screen potential residents, including reference checks, to ensure a positive resident community
Rent collection and bank deposits as required (most residents pay rent via EFT)
 Coordinate and complete move-in and move-out Condition Inspections
 Work closely with Head Office to ensure all lease documentation is complete, including parking,
storage and bicycle agreements, etc.

 Provide excellent customer service to all residents and trades at Chancellor Court.
 Provide a strong, visible presence for the Company on the property
 Maintain excellent communication with the Building Manager and the Property Manager as it relates
to the management and operation of the property
 Perform other duties as required to properly manage the property
 Use of personal vehicle where required to get supplies, make bank deposits, etc.
 Other duties as assigned by the Building Manager, Property Manager and Company management
from time to time

The preferred candidate will:
 Have acquired experience managing a large professional residential rental complex
 Have acquired knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
 Be proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office, Blackberries, Security Systems, etc.
 Be extremely service oriented with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
 Demonstrate good judgment in problem solving and conflict resolution
 Have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented
