Automation Technician - 442A Electrician Certification

Wage: $70,000-$75,000 a year plus overtime . This is for a Midland location

Hours: must be shift flexible - afternoon/midnight shift. (3pm-11pm/11pm-7am)


You will be responsible for the troubleshooting, servicing & programming of the computerized systems and robotic assembly devices. The Automation Technician reports to the Automation & Controls Supervisor for general direction.

The following is a more detailed listing of the Automation Technician responsibilities.

* Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems;
* Establish monitoring parameters on automated systems;
* Isolate problems and perform repairs as required;
* Design and service control systems and PLCs;
* Analyse automation performance to ensure they meet all safety and productivity standards;
* Prepare reports and recommend upgrades or changes to current processes;
