We are looking to hire a Bilingual (French/English) Solutions Architect in Toronto, ON for an exciting new role!


• Accountability across the entire architecture domain including application, data and infrastructure architecture to develop robust solution architectures.
• Design and/or maintain conceptual architecture models based on high level requirements from technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and document IT solution architecture in relation to projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that technology decisions and blueprints align with the overall system architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and support to build teams.
• Facilitate and/or contribute to technical/business solution discussions for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct research:
o Technology assessments that select, compare and rate a short list of candidate technologies against a set of business requirements.
o Strategic assessments of technologies and trends to develop strategic technology roadmaps.
o Tactical research such as monitoring product lifecycle changes and making recommendations regarding replacement or upgrade options.
• Conduct product evaluations and/or develop proof of concept on new products and concepts.
• Develop guidelines that are compliant with industry standards and/or best practices for technology/system implementations.
• Present technical and architectural topics, and provide technical mentorship and guidance to various audiences.
• Lead with the technical staff the creation of infrastructure architecture of development, test and training environments.


• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of IT architecture experience in complex technical environments.
• Expertise in working with senior business and technology leaders to ensure technology and business areas understand the architectural options and technology choices in support of their business initiatives.
• Knowledge and experience in enterprise data center infrastructure.
• Proven experience in conceptual architecture and design.
• Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:
o Data Architecture and/or data modeling
o Infrastructure architecture
o Enterprise architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF or Zachman
o Enterprise architecture modeling and design tools e.g. Sparx EA
o Conducting technology product assessments
• Demonstrated ability to work at an analytical and abstract level.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
• Clear and effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of internal and external customers.
