Location: Montreal-nord/Saint Leonard
Salary Depends on experience
6 month contract

RH Parts & Service Department – Montreal

Duties and Responsibilities for Bookkeeper
• Overseeing invoicing of customers
• Accounts receivable collections, reconciliation, reporting, analysis
• Accounts payable, including cheque/EFT processing, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of month end journal entries including preparing and filing appropriate support
• General ledger account reconciliation and analysis
• Corporate reporting – Month end reporting templates, variance explanations
• QST/GST and other remittances as required
• Submitting payroll for processing (Union Refrigeration employees)
• Other accounting duties as required by the Branch Manager or Corporate Head Office

Qualifications and Experience
1. Strong knowledge of general ledger / chart of accounts, journal entries, full cycle accounting
2. A certificate or degree in bookkeeping or accounting
3. Minimum 3 years relevant bookkeeping experience
4. Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, MYOB, Simply Accounting, etc)
5. ERP System experience (Acomba, Sage / ACCPAC preferred, SAP, JDE, etc.). will be an ASSET.
6. Proficient in MS Excel
