CNC BORING MACHINIST

Located in Newmarket our client is a world leader in the full process of die casting from design to build. We are looking for an experienced CNC Boring Machinist to join their team

What is expected in this role?
- Program, set-up and operate Horizontal CNC Boring Mill
- Machining 4140 Steel Die Shoes ranging from 10-40 tons
- Programming done at machine (not too much programming needed as there are repeat jobs)

- Direct Hire
- Day and Afternoon shift rotation NO NIGHTS!
- Day Shift: 730am-430pm Monday to Thursday off at 230pm Fridays
- Afternoon Shift: 430pm-230am Monday to Thursday Friday optional for Overtime

OVERTIME AFTER 40 HOURS! SUNDAY DOUBLE TIME! Average weekly hours: 44-50/week, overtime is not mandatory but expected during busy peaks

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years experience with setup and operation of Horizontal Boring Mill
- Strong experience with Heidenhain controls
- Hands on experience with Lemoine RTP software is an asset
- Strong communication
