    We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to be part of our growing maintenance team. This position is to work in our Ruby Creek location in Hope, BC. Position - Maintenance MillwrightShift: 4days on 4days off - Shift 10 to 12 hours a day starting between 6 and 7 amLocation: Ruby Creek, Hope BCPay: Depending on experienceResponsibilities•Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures•Installing machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools•Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions•Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts•Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery•Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations•Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation•Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery•Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliance•Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area•Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures•Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards•Performing other related duties as assignedAdvantages•Full-time permanent position •Competitive Pay•Extended Health & Dental for Associates and eligible for family members•Life Insurance, STD•Paid Vacation Time•Safety Shoe ReimbursementQualifications•High school diploma or equivalent qualification•A minimum of 5 years of experience working with industrial Maintenance•In-depth knowledge of production equipment and machinery•Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment•Experience using PLC’s is an asset•Experience in MIG and Stick welding•Strong attention to detail and excellent mechanical understandingIf you believe this position is the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you!
