Business Development Manager
Toronto | $60,000-70,000

Our client is a supplier of recycled products to the construction industry and is focused on developing high-performance, engineered products for sound control. Due to company growth and success they are expanding their team and are seeking a talented Business Development Engineer. This role requires someone who is ready to learn, work hard and has a desire to kick-start their professional career!

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop a thorough understanding of company products and applications through classes, seminars, and on-the-job training.
• Provide technical consultation and service on new construction projects
• Advise industry professionals to help solve their challenges by selecting and promoting the proper company products/service for their application.
• Explore and close new business opportunities
• Become a trusted advisor and resource to the construction community
• Contribute to new product development ideas

Qualifications
• Post secondary education - Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Chemical or Civil
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to listen and proactively react to customer questions and requests
• Goal-oriented and extremely hard working with a desire to make a measurable contribution
• Desire to better yourself through intensive training, mentorship, engaged management, and proactive, process-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel - an average of 1 week/month
