Process Consultant
Kitchener

Our Big 5 Financial client is looking to hire an intermediate a Process Consultant for a 6-month contract. The project will focus on creating a future-state model under Agile delivery framework. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, and have over 5 years of process improvement experience. The incumbent will will also have to have experience with change management and the ability to negotiate with stake holders in multiple lines of business. The position will report to a project manager within our insurance product development department.

Candidates must be able to travel to Kitchener or reside in the area. Working from home will be be allowed on an occasional basis.


Responsibilities Include

- Driving the process discovery of current state procedures for transformation and automation initiatives

- Gathering data and providing analysis for operational knowledge based activities

- Testing solutions

- future state standard operating procedures and documents new processes

- Authoring documentation for change management activities

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience working in business process creation/improvement
- Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- extensive experience with MS Visio
- Value stream mapping - modelling process
- Degree/diploma in business engineering - or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of process improvement experience
- change management


Day to Day:

- creative strategy - execution for the business
- identifying structure issues within the organization, process redundancies/gaps/overlaps
- accuracy model creation
- extensive process modelling
