Do you have one of the following diplomas: BA in Kinesiology with relevant clinical experience, or BSc and up in Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or BA in Psychology? Are you bilingual in written and spoken (French and English)? Then we have the job for you where you can use your educational accomplishments.

It is within the insurance industry. The role is as a Case Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment of long term disability claims, the development of specific case management plans, and key decisions. These duties rely on your sound analysis of disability contracts and your ability to think strategically while applying sound judgment.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Assessment of long term disability claims including the identification, and analysis of medical, contractual, and eligibility information
•Development of case management plans
•Consistent interaction with Claimants and Clients
•Development of case management plans
•Assessment of Long Term Disability and Waiver of Premium claims including the analysis of medical, contractual, and eligibility information in order to render a decision on the claims.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm -
Downtown Montreal location
12 months contract - possibility of contract renewal or permanency

Qualifications
-Degree in a Health Related program such as nursing, kinesiology, rehab or other related field (chiropractor, physical therapist, kinesiology )
- 2 to 5 years experience in your field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and in French (Bilingual)
- PC skills - Windows, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in customer service will be considered as a definite asset
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
- Proven analytical, organization, creativity and decision making skills
