Randstad Edmonton Engineering is currently hiring a Permanent Project Coordinator for a company that has been in business for 60+ years providing construction products and services for the architectural openings industry in the Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Residential with value added services including Specification Writing, Project Supply and Installation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews, analyzes and plans blueprints and shop drawings.
Build order sheets, shop drawings and templates.
Front Facing with Manufacturers, Procurement, and Site Superintendents.
Guarantee quality control, engagement and delegation of pricing, product assembly and project experience.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions for a COR certified Employer.
After training is completed Employee will be on site approximately 10%.

Required Qualifications

C.E.T. program Graduate
Valid Driver’s License, required operating a vehicle on a public roadway and having an insured and registered vehicle for personal use.
PMP experience an asset.
Own steel toed work boots.
Mature, autonomous, organized and able to problem solve.
Be ethical, have values in peer relationships while driving for results.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Autocad, Visio, MS365 and Avaware Commsense
Be able to read and produce shop drawings and blueprints.
