Cloud Automation Specialist

Mandate: Cloud Automation Specialist
Location: Montreal
Openings: 1
Duration: 12 Months contract or permanency

Our client, a large multinational company and leader in their industry is looking for consultants to be part of their success and growth.

Task Description
- Assisting with the operational aspects of a vRealize Automation environment
- Create and maintain complex vRealize Automation blueprints and add functionality to them with vRealize Orchestrator
- Automate the deployment of customer environment servers and network services using VMware NSX
- Support existing customer virtual networking components with VMware NSX

Skills & Experience
- VMware products, such as VMware vSphere, vRealize Orchestrator and vRealize Automation, vRealize Operations (VCP & VCAP Certifications Preferred)
- Knowledge of Advanced Networking concepts (VPN, Load balancing, NAT, VXLAN, OSPF Routing)
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud, Virtualized environment
- Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
- Understanding of Software Defined Networking concepts (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI)
- Programming or scripting with REST APIs, Javascript, Bash, Powershell, Perl, Python
- Red Hat and CentOS systems administration & hardening
- Puppet & Ansible automation tools
- Knowledge of public cloud concepts (Amazon Web Services, Azure)
- Knowledge of Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration with Jenkins
