Do you have strong negotiation and customer service skills? Are you also analytical and organized? If so, you would make a great addition to our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, by lending your skills as a Collections Officer in their Halifax office.

As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for owing the full collections process of delinquent/past due payments on accounts related to loans, lines of credit, mortgages, etc.
Duties include:
• Managing and resolve more complex delinquent account
• Ensuring payments and adjustments are processed accurately
• Managing incoming correspondence received from clients
• Reviewing, investigating, and analyzing accounts to determine the client’s ability to repay the debt

Minimum 1 year of collection experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with MS Office tools

Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset
