Randstad is the leader in downtown Edmonton staffing. This permanent opportunity is available to an experienced Commercial Property Manager with at least 5 years of experience overseeing office space in the Edmonton region. Familiar with leases, sub-leases, and developing marketing strategies to ensure low vacancy rates, you pride yourself on being able to get the best value for your clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Corresponding with tenants to ensure their needs are being met. You will also be responsible for tracking and following up with delinquent rent and resolving tenant concerns
• Developing marketing strategies to best present properties and ensure that they are represented well in the marketplace
• Supervising contractors and ensuring that any contracted resources meet all WCB obligations and safety standards
• Reduce risk by screening prospective tenants in terms of conducting credit checks
• Traveling to properties throughout the greater Edmonton area to inspect work performed by contractors
• Collaborating with Senior Property Manager to ensure corporate goals are met
• Ensuring all administrative tasks, including revolving reporting and ongoing tracking of account status, are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified and tenured Commercial Property Manager. With over 5 years of experience in such positions, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Accreditation from a recognized Property Management program
• Minimum of 2 positive references from past supervisors or managers
• Clear criminal records check
• Above-average MS Office skills (applicants will be tested)
• Ability to demonstrate positive client interactions with a focus on revenue generation and client retention (as verified via references)
• The desire to work hard and grow with the organization over the long term
• Experience with JD Edwards and Yardi Voyager is an asset, but is not required
