Are you a hands-on Controller who has CPG/Distribution experience and are passionate about being involved in both the Finance and Operations side of a business?

As the head of Finance, you will report directly to the COO/VP of Sales and your duties and responsibilities will include;

* Managing a current team of 5 people (3 finance, 2 operations/logistics)
* Overseeing Payroll, AP, and AR (knowledge of running payroll required)
* Managing the month-end, quarter-end, year-end close process
* Work closely with external Auditors
* Financial reporting, bank reporting, and all other ad-hoc reporting as required by the business
* Budgeting/forecasting/variance analysis
* Knowledge and experience with inventory, rebate programs an asset

* Proven Controller experience in the CPG, Retail or Distribution industry
* Proven experience managing teams
* CPA designation
* FIT will be critical - assertive, friendly, good written and oral communication skills
* Good systems experience (they will train on Quickbooks and Caseware)
* Experience in a very hands-on, "soup to nuts" role and the ability to grow into CFO
* Strong business acumen
