On behalf of our client in London, Ontario we are recruiting for Controls Technicians / PLC Programmers with Automotive Experience

Hourly: based on experience
Over-Time is after 40 Hours on a voluntary basis up to 60 hours weekly
Leadership Opportunities for Individuals with more experience and an interest in Team Lead position

Required Qualifications:
•Electrical Technologist Diploma OR University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related
•2 to 10 years working experience as a Controls Technician in Manufacturing or Automation; Internships and Co-Ops considered
•Robot integration of new machines into existing manufacturing for assembly or welding applications is a strong asset
•Electrical Controls Design for Custom Automation Solutions
•PLC Programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens etc.
•Robot Experience: Fanuc, ABB, Kuka or others will be considered
•2 Supervisor References from recent positions

The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
•Electrical Design, PLC or Robot programming, testing and commissioning at client site of automated control systems
•Work in collaboration with cross functional team members and coordinate activities with other departments
•Responsible for creating and updating existing Electrical schematics
•Work with project management to complete projects on time, on budget and safely
•Creating project documentation and procurement of the required electrical components
•Local travel only to customer sites to service and support existing equipment or installation of new equipment
