Are you a conventional machinist with a strong background operating both milling and lathe equipment? Do you like to work in a small team environment producing high quality work? This role will require you to work alongside a well tenured group of employees that have a vested interest in making you successful when you start. This is a small machine shop that services the food/pharma industry, with a well established customer base.
This role is primarily focused on set up and operation of Mills and Lathes.
In this role you will be:

- working mainly with stainless steel
- working within tolerances of +/-.0002
- working on a variety of machines
- working alongside other like minded machinists
- working mainly with stainless steel

- direct hire
- $20-26 hourly depending on experience
- day shift 7-3:30
- positive work environment
- this is a company that people stay at until they retire! Have tenures up to 42 years
- profit sharing

- experience in a custom environment
- license is ideal, but not necessary
- experience setting up, operating and programming (most already done) with mastercam is a bonus
- cnc lathe experience is a bonus
- ability to get to Ayr (have reliable transportation)
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to read blue prints
- able to use all precision measuring equipment
