The excellence and conformity coordinator is in charge of ensuring Nu-b's respect of all applicable regulations and requirements including the SQF Code, Health and Safety Standards, Training Program and Customer requirements. He/she leads and organizes the establisment and maintenance of quality, food safety and health and safety programs and participates in staff training & continuous improvement.

Responsabilities
Plans and leads all internal audits (SQF recertification, SST audit, etc)
Addresses non-conformities and conducts root cause analysis
Implements the necessary corrective actions and conducts follow-up.
Has a good command of the current regulations (SQF Code, OHS & Labor Laws, etc) and its requirements in order to implement and manage the system.
Ensures the maintenance of the quality system including form verification and plant reviews
Reviews and updates of Quality and Health and Safety Systems anually or as required
Plans and manages external audits (SQF certification, CNESST, client audits, etc) & responds to external auditors
Monitors the KPIs, conducts studies and proposes improvements to the quality programs
Updates upper management on regulation changes and reports status of compliance activities
Participates in SQF, OHS, and Production meetings
Modifies and prepares the procedures for approval according to improvement needs
Ensures coherence between work instructions, processes and the documents in circulation (procedures and forms).
Develops and updates quality-management procedures.
Proposes and takes part in quality-improvement projects.
Tracks and coordinates the continuous improvement projects.

Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Food science or in related studies
Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in the plastics (composite material processing), pharmaceutical or food industries
Good knowledge of GMP, SQF processes and standards
Strong ability to understand industrial manufacturing processes
Skilled at root cause analysis and strong ability to develop corrective actions
Skilled at configuring, reading and interpreting measurement instruments
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
Bilingual
