Are you a credit Management Specialist looking for your next role in an Enterprise wide organization? One of our top clients is hiring a Consultant for a 6 month contract with long term potential.

Job Description

Provide recommendations on process/practice improvements in term of how to manage credit risk that will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of financial risk services to customer accounts. The role will assist VP Finance in establishing improved and comprehensive processes and practices for credit risk quantification and analytics in order to achieve desirable balance between sales maximization and risk mitigation for a size of $900 Million business with a credit team of over 20 people.

• Document, review and assess current credit team’s processes and practices
• Identify key process weaknesses, potential improvement and opportunities, and make process changes recommendations
• Access current team members and make training/improvement recommendations
• Recommend risk management processes and practices
• Establish a comprehensive credit processes and critical practices to achieve desirable balance between sales maximization and risk mitigation


Advantages
UP TO $39-42/hr
Located in Mississauga with opportunity to travel to Western Canada

Qualifications
• Proved successful credit management experiences
• Managerial experience with a team of 10 people
• Distribution industry preferable
• Self-motivated , need minimum supervisor and willing to ask probing questions to identify opportunities
• Process strong communication and people skills
• 2 -3 times travel to West Canada
