Design Team Lead – Guelph
We are looking for a perfect match to fill the position of Design Team Lead with a highly respected Guelph manufacture. We are looking for someone who wants to work with a market leader. Are you someone who wants to be a part of a close knit company? Do you help bring the newest technologies to market?
What you day looks like:
• Your priority is to coordinate and direct projects, ensuring all goals and technical activities
• The design team lead has significant involvement in research and development of the newest trends and technologies
• Designing and developing new products based on customer requirements
• You will bring products from conceptual design through to manufacturing
• As design lead you will assist other departments to ensure accurate data and technical documents are available
• Continually assessing feasibility of potential projects

Our perfect Match:

• The design team lead has excellent leadership skills and the desire to motivate other employees
• You have 5 or so years of design experience in a similar industry
• Previous project management experience is ideal
• You bring in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
• You are strong in Solid works Design software and MRP/ERP systems
• You have a Bachelor of Engineering ( electrical or mechanical)
