Director of Operations
The Director of Operations will be responsible to define, implement and manage the strategic direction of the
order fulfilment part of the supply chain to include Warehousing, Distribution (Wholesale and Direct to Consumer)
and Inventory operations as well as Inbound Traffic, Logistics and Order Management.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of all functional areas within the Distribution Center to ensure that all receiving,
inventory, shipping and stock keeping functions are always operating at peak efficiency;
• Negotiate and manage all 3PL providers across North America, ensuring service levels are established
and met and costs to serve are controlled for both wholesale and e-commerce fulfillment efforts;
• Keep abreast of all customer SOPs to ensure resources and efforts are aligned to delivering on customer
requirements;
• Lead the procurement process and management for all transportation, distribution, and warehouse
services including all outbound, inbound and third-party logistics providers, delivering the targeted
cost/quality/service improvements;
• Identify and implement key improvements in the supply chain (automation, space utilization, etc.) to drive
operational excellence;
• Oversee the daily operations and provide strategic leadership to the Traffic and Order Management
functions;
• Coach and maintain a cohesive team ensuring a smooth flow of stock from receiving, inspection, stock
keeping to final shipping and invoicing;
• Develop, communicate and monitor KPIs to drive performance metrics within each area of responsibility;
• Ensure timely resolution of any delivery issues;
• Ensure that all information is maintained accurately and in a timely manner so that integrity of inventories,
available to sells and orders are maintained;
• Develop and monitor annual department budget and goals;
• Create and execute a future state vision for the distribution network design to optimize cost and serving
customers in collaboration with Sales and Finance;
• Deliver incremental customer and organizational profitability by leading the development and execution
of customer specific supply chain initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams;
• Keep abreast of current logistics trends, provide strategic thinking, planning, and direction of the
distribution center network to stay ahead of the company's business needs.
